We are pleased to welcome you to CS-3510 Design and Analysis of Algorithms in summer 2022!

Here are a few important notes and FAQ answers regarding this course:

  • Course Format

This summer, the course is 100% in-person (lectures and exams). The course materials, e.g., lecture notes, slides, assignments, etc., will be available online through the course website and Canvas. However, the lectures are not recorded and the exams will be in-person. Therefore, it is not possible to take the course virtually.

  • General plan
    • We will have lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 3:30 pm until 5:40 pm, with a usually 10 minute break in the middle.

    • There will be about 6-7 homework assignments, which will usually be released on Fridays and you will have one week to submit your solutions.

    • There will be two mid-term exams and one final (inclusive) exam.

    • For more details regarding the homework assignments, grading policies, and the tentative schedule, check policies, lectures, and assignments sections.

We are looking forward to a productive and fun semester!
